About Us

Established in the 1980s, Nature's Pantry has been operated by sisters Monica & Ali Howard since 2011. Responding to the needs of our clients and staff, in the fall of 2022 we moved the business to a larger space that meets modern accessibility standards. We think the new space addresses some of the challenges of the old shop while retaining its charm & small-town feel.

We humbly acknowledge our privilege as settlers living and working on unceded Wet'suwet'en territory.

We are grateful to work with an exceptional group of kind and hard-working people who are dedicated to providing respectful & courteous customer service.

Your choice to shop locally allows us to give generously.

We are committed to supporting our community by contributing at least 1% of annual sales to various organizations in the Bulkley Valley. In addition, since 2015 our annual Season of Giving program alone has distributed over $75 000 to initiatives & families within the BV.

We are longtime supporters of Dze L K'ant Friendship Centre, Positive Living North, Northern Society for Domestic Peace, Smithers Community Services, Northwest Child Development Centre, BV Health Foundation, BV Fair, CICK Smithers Community Radio, Smithers Art Gallery, BV Folk Music Society, Skeena Wild Film Fest, Smithers Mountain Bike Association, BV Nordic Club, Bike to Work Week, BV Soccer Society, and many other worthy programs too numerous to mention. If your organization would like to be considered for sponsorship or a donation, please contact us with a description of your organization or event.
